Not verified

Both buyers and sellers must verify before live trading. One verification belongs to your account, whether you buy or sell.

Do not upload your ID or selfie here. Secure document collection will open through the verification provider when enabled.

When verification is required

• Sellers: before publishing a listing.
• Buyers: before submitting an offer or entering a deal.
• The same verified account can buy and sell, with cash or payments where available.

We plan to reuse your completed verification for later deals. Another check may be required if account information changes or a security review needs it.

What you will need

A valid government-issued photo ID and, when requested, a selfie to match you to the document. Stripe Identity is our proposed verification provider, subject to eligibility and account setup.

Your legal name and ID documents will not appear on your public profile. Sensitive documents will be handled by the verification provider; FireTerms plans to store the verification reference and status against your permanent account.

What verification means

An “Identity verified” label will only appear after a completed provider check. It is not a credit score, an endorsement, or a guarantee that someone will pay or deliver an item. Sellers still decide which offers to accept.

Sellers receiving payments must also complete the processor’s separate account and payout onboarding.

Not available yet

This preview does not collect IDs, run identity checks, or enforce the planned verification requirement. Live verification will be enabled only after provider setup and testing. Existing accounts and transaction history will stay attached to the same permanent account IDs.
